New CIS Module: Fixed AssetsSave Time at Month-End With Your Depreciation Calculations The Fixed Assets module is an asset management system that helps you catalogue your assets and assign the correct depreciation rates. The Fixed Assets module can run alone or it can be integrated with KDI’s Core Information System.
In most tax jurisdictions, there are different depreciation rates allowed for each asset type. Buildings, vehicles and computer equipment represent three standard depreciation types. The Fixed Assets module lets you specify the proper depreciation rate for all taxable capital assets, either monthly or annually depending on your business rules.
At each month end, the Fixed Assets module provides you with a convenient method for summarizing your depreciation amounts and then posting them into permanent storage. Your accountants and accounting staff will appreciate the time savings that an automated reporting and posting system gives them.
